It's been a while

I've wanted to write for a long time, but I always get discouraged and get lost as to what I want to write. Ideas come and go and time just goes by. I hope to get more ideas soon. But yeah this is just a revelation of "Wow I should really start writing again."

Halloweem Costumes

All right now here I go on a rant about girls' Halloween costumes. Now I realize that many girls are probably going to disagree, but I don't care. Why are all the girls' costumes so scanty???!!!! I mean I realize my costume is a little scanty because the skirt is a little short, but I plan on wearing some kind of leggings under it. Is every girl in America expected to dress like a prostitute on Halloween? I know that many boys don't mind it but as a teen girl I do. I don't want to be stared at like a piece if meat thank you. The contradictory thing is that many girls say the same thing but then dress in these skimpy costumes that basically scream LOOK AT ME I'M NOT A PERSON I'M A DESIRABLE PIECE OF MEAT!!!!! I walked into a Halloween store today and was just appalled by the costumes I saw. I searched everywhere and finally found a costume that was cute and actually not too skimpy. But why does it take me an hour to do so??? Please tell me why it seems like every girl wants to dress skimpy on Halloween. I don not get it at all? Is sexual desire the only way for women or girls to feel powerful? Do they really want to degrade themselves so much to get a boy's or man's attention? What have we fought for all these years if we still degrade ourselves to please men?

So please tell me what the crap is wrong with people in this day and age. What happened to politeness and helpfulness? SERIOUSLY OUR GENERATION STINKS!!!!!!!!! I had about a group of 6 -10 guys say that if I had had a sidekick instead of my razor, I would have been down on the ground because they needed a sidekick and I would be an easy target to rob. They also went on to mock my being on a crutch and actually started limping themselves. So I politely turned and faced them and said that they were all a-holes, thanks bye. They then proceeded to call me a dirty whore. Now is it just me or was that totally uncalled for? What has made our generation so full of morons and ignorance? Does anyone have respect at all anymore for other living beings? Let me tell you if I see them again they better say it to my face instead of waiting until I pass by. For crying out loud be a man and face up to your words. If your going to say something about someone then say it to their face. I have been guilty of doing the opposite and I need to stop that too because I know how annoying it can be. But again when will we ever have respect again? Is this decline going to last? I really hope not.

Its all in my head????

So I've been having trouble with my leg where it feels like dead weight and I can't put a lot of pressure on it without it feeling like its going to give out on me again. So I went to the doctor today and you know what he basically said to me???? He said how my brain told my leg to shutdown and by not walking on it I just made it worse. Now you tell me...how am I suppose to walk on a bum leg? Meanwhile hes doing these exercises on my leg and making me walk and I'm cringing in pain. So now I have to go get an MRI to make sure nothing is wrong with the muscle. What is it with doctors and nurses? They don't let you use crutches when you need them without a doctors note and then the doctor complains about them not letting you but says the pain is all in your head. I mean really, has society really become so paranoid that they won't even believe if you're in pain anymore? Is our society really based on just making more money or being jerks?

My first blog post

Hello other blog spot users. This is my first personal blog and I hope you enjoy it. Please let me know if I break any blog rules. I'll mostly be writing my thoughts on life and also some of my writing. I love to write poems. and I hope you like this one.

Tomorrow comes and ends today
And we all sit around and begin to pray
For those who lose their lives in war
For the pain that those families must endure

We turn to see and sadly hear
The cry from suffering and excessive fear
From those who suffer through and through
Not knowing what they or we can ever do

The war keeps on without a stop
With the innocent hearing the deadly "pop"
Of a gun in the soldiers' hand
Causing people to lay dead in their homeland

And all we do is sit around
Watching the bodies on t.v. hit the ground
Instead of fighting for an end
To the death and suffering that need to mend

Passions should arise from us all
Our voices coming together with a call
Of a new peaceful day and age
Where people aren't killed for resources or rage

Although we pray its not enough
We must make our voices heard, we must get rough
We must be smart instead of strong
To escape the darkness into a new dawn
